Frank Mauderer – Europe & Asia Pacific
Frank started his pharma career with Schering AG’s global headquarters in Berlin in 2003 and was assigned to coordinate the firms Asia-Pacific subsidiaries across several functions. He acted key liaison between a number of HQ departments such as transfer pricing, strategic planning, controlling and marketing and the respective counterparts within the subsidiaries.
In 2005 he was posted to Cambodia as the company’s Chief Representative and after the merger with Bayer AG, he acted as Country Division Head tasked with establishing and heading operations and build a brand portfolio within the country. He was part of Bayer’s leadership team in the Asia region.
From 2008 onwards, Frank was assigned to Marketing Operations Europe in order to prepare and help execute the launch of a novel anticoagulant, which later became the company’s top-selling drug. He was part of a cross-functional team consisting of medical, market access and marketing functions that prepared the product launch in the European region across a number of indications.
After leaving Bayer in 2013, Frank worked as an independent consultant in the area Market Access and Pricing Strategy with projects in Scandinavia as well as Southern and Eastern Europe. He also founded a healthcare distribution company in 2013 and a Singapore based medical commercialisation business in 2017 and started working as a Consultant to Vision Consulting since 2020.
